Dogbane Fiber Sheet
The paper is made of Dogbane Bast
Dogbane (Indian Hemp) was used by Native Americans to make cordage. It makes a most interesting reddish brown paper. The fiber was harvested from plants that were blooming. I find if you harvest it in the fall, there is too much bark-like fiber on the stems.
